Working with our Belief System is Dipping a Toe into the Waters of our Shadow
Why this work is more vital than ever and how the esoteric can help support us “The world we see that seems so insane is the result of a belief system that is not working. To perceive the world differently, we must be willing to change our belief system, let the past slip away, expand our sense of now, and dissolve the fear in our minds.” - William Blake
Full Moon in Leo
The path forward is one we must forage. It's not just there already (we know this) but the potential for it exists as long, and only as long, as we are willing to do the work and create the path. Many of the tools that are being revealed to us to utilize come from our own innate talents, gifts and from the light within us that seeks expression in the world. Everything is asking us right now, are you going to give up who you are and what you want? Are you going to lay down your humanity as an offering to this current moment in time? Everything in the universe is asking us, who are we really?
Lunar New Year: New Moon in Aquarius
Aquarius is the rebel, the revolutionary, the innovator, the humanitarian, the mad scientist, the outlaw, the outcast – the outsider. Aquarius, like its sister sign Leo, is concerned with the question of the Self within the context of the collective, and vice versa. It represents the figure eight of infinity that holds on one side the individual on the other the collective, a never ending loop feeding itself with no end or beginning, a symbol representing the illusion of separation between the two sides, or circles. Impact one and the other responds. This is the knowledge that Aquarius holds, the true meaning of existence here as a human on earth – that we exist within and without. That we belong here inherently and yet we must still also carve out, and fight for, our own place of belonging here, and for others.

This moon is supported by two harmonious aspects to the other planets. There is a sextile with change marker, rebel Uranus (also changing signs later this year) and a trine with Neptune which will move into Aries at the end of March. This is bringing the collective into the lunation and we are being shown pathways that may be supportive for the year to come, as well as illumination into what is being let go of. This is a very watery and sensitive moon, yet it doesn't feel strictly emotional and that I believe is due to the influence of the outer planets and Mars RX.
new mOOn in capricOrn & hOrOscOpes fOr the zOdaics
The first quarter of the year is introspective and slow, which is giving us time to plant the correct seeds for us to build in the later half of 2025. We will need to restructure systems and thought patterns and this Capricorn new moon will reveal insight into what that may look like, collectively and individually.
New mOOn in SagittariUs
The New Moon peaks on December 1st, 2024 in the sign of Sagittarius. New moons are a time of new beginnings yet they also represent times when we lean into the dark and unknown. This Sagittarius new moon is pushing us more into that space as opposed to a fertile new beginning, as we are facing obstacles and setbacks right now with both Mercury and Jupiter retrograde. The invitation is to embrace patience and introspection.
Full mOOn in taurUs
The full moon in Taurus peaks on Friday, November 15th, 2024 and brings with it an energy of change yet tension around moving forward. We might feel at odds with our environment, and due to this being a super moon, our emotions are likely over-active and we may find ourselves more reactive or emotional than usual. We are meant to be letting go but the changes around us may feel uneasy and possibly overwhelming. We are essentially being torn between two realities, the one we have been traversing and the new one we find ourselves entering. Taurus guides us to ground and root into ourselves and our earth yet not to become so fixed that we cannot move with the changing winds around us. We will need to be practical and diligent to ground the electric energy of Uranus, which is making a conjunction with the moon, yet this same energy may tempt us to become stuck in our ways and resistant to where the Universe is trying to take us.
Halloween New mOOn in ScOrpiO
There is an energy of transformation, power, conflict and crossroads that comes along with this moon, which is opening up new beginnings in these areas for us as individuals and as a collective. This lunation might feel quite intense as there are some powerful astrological aspects and planets that are running the show. At the heart of it all, however, is the reminder that we have control over where it goes and the direction we chose to move in. Scorpio is power, transformation, truth and control. There is a need to alchemize and transform what is revealed. This is a moon that will make us work for it. Change will not just happen and we may find ourselves pushed into a corner for the sole reason of finding a way out.
Hunters moon: Super full moon in aries
The full moon in Aries, also known as the Hunter’s moon, peaks on Thursday, October 17th, bringing to a close a 6 month healing cycle and a path to new beginnings. This moon is a super moon meaning that its effects are strengthened, especially for those with planets or angles in cardinal signs near the 24th degree. Those with such placements are scheduled for new beginnings and a release from difficulties of the past.
SOlar EclipsE in librA
This eclipse in Libra is Venus ruled with Venus in Scorpio a part of a Grand Water trine, so the emphasis on love, fulfillment, creativity and our relationships is major. Mercury is in close conjunction with the Moon as well, putting pressure and focus on our communication. This is showing us that part of the way we move into greater harmony and love in our relationships comes from the way in which we communicate and how it is that we are allowing our mind to either support our deeper desires or where we are coming into restrictive territory with what the mind will allow us to do or be.
Partial Lunar Eclipse: Full Moon in Pisces
Commencing with this full moon, exact at 25 degrees on Tuesday September 17th, at 10:34 PM, we officially begin the shift of the nodes into the Pisces/Virgo noda axis. This is setting us up for a nodal story line (reminder, the nodes are about fate – where it is we’re going and our karmic past) that will be in play until 2026. This eclipse is giving us a sneak peak into what the year 2025 will primarily hold for us, as individuals and as a collective. There is a bunch going on with this moon, and if you too feel like I keep saying that about the lunations we have been experiencing, know that I’m not just saying it – things have been astrologically crazy for a little bit now!
new mOON in vIrgO
The new moon in Virgo arrives Monday, September 2nd at 9:55 PM and marks the final lunation before we enter eclipse season. That means this is the last new moon to work with for manifestation for the many of us who refrain from manifesting while in the eclipse portal. This is a complex moon that is highly influenced by the shift of Pluto into Capricorn which began the day before on September 1st. Virgo as the healer and witch of the zodiac is giving us a chance to purify and organize the chaos we are bound to re-visit while Pluto closes out the past 17 years once and for all.
Full Moon in Aquarius
On Monday, August 19th, the moon will peak, round and full, in the park of the sky known as Aquarius. This moon has quite a bit going on has a bunch of harsh aspects causing tension and frustration. We are working with a T-square with Jupiter, Mars, Saturn and Venus as well as the full moon squaring off with Uranus. Topping it off, the full moon is in opposition with Mercury retrograde in Leo. However, all this tension isn't necessarily a bad thing by any means – we are dealing with Uranus energy which is prone to giving way to breakthroughs. While this moon is putting pressure on us, it is providing the tension needed to create crucial shifts that open us up to new pathways forward on an individual and collective level.
New Moon in Leo 2024
On August 4th, we have our new moon in Leo, peaking on August 5th. This moon is well aspected with Jupiter and Mars in Gemini which are in a 5 degree conjunction and are approaching an exact conjunction on August 14th. Mercury goes retrograde hours after the new moon begins late Sunday night and Venus too is in motion, beginning this new moon in the 29th degree of Leo before switching signs on August 5th where it joins Mercury in the sign of Virgo. The north node in Aries is trine the new moon in Leo which is aligning us with our destiny and adding an element of fate.
Blue mOOn in capricOrn
Sunday, June 21st we have a rare and mystical blue moon in Capricorn that’s bringing a heavy dose of Plutonic energy along with it. A month ago on June 21st, coinciding with the first day of Cancer season, we had our first Capricorn Full Moon in the 1st degree. Now, we have the second and final Capricorn full moon of the year taking place at the anaretic degree, which is the 29th and final degree of a sign. This is a powerful and crucial moon, and it's setting up a story that we will be working with into the future.
new moon in cancer
The new moon is a time to set intention and to begin new cycles. It’s a fresh start in the middle of summer, a chance to connect with our inner voice and readjust in accordance to its desires. The signs most affected by this new moon are the cardinal signs, Cancer Libra Aries and Capricorn. This is a particularly good moon for these signs to deepen their understanding of themselves, their authentic needs and their overall emotional awareness.
Strawberry Moon in capricON
The June Capricorn full moon, also known as the Strawberry moon, peaks late Friday night and into Saturday, June 21st. This is the first of two full moons in Capricorn, the second taking place a month from now. We are wrapping up major cycles as we dive into the healing yet emotional waters of Cancer season where the planets Mercury and Venus reside as well, giving us a Cancer stellium for this full moon. On top of all that, the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, took place June 20th on the first day of Cancer season. This is a powerful moon, yet we are working for the long term and patience is key. The bigger the goals we are working towards, the more time it takes to accomplish them. With this in mind, the second Capricorn moon in July is here to help us really come into the lessons and rewards that begin now. This first moon takes place at 1 degree, meaning we are at the early stages. The second moon will take place at the final degree, the 29th degree, and marks mastery and the end of a cycle.
Cancer Season 2024
This year Cancer season begins early on the 20th of June. It's the season of watery emotions but Cancer is also a sign that loves to have a good time. Its season coincides with the peak of Summer and marks the midway point of the year. It's the perfect time to take a page out of Cancer’s book and indulge in celebration with good friends, great food and immaculate vibes. People tend to feel more sensitive and emotional during Cancer season, but the inner tending that we’re being called towards is best balanced with an ample amount of fun and, let's be honest, some glamour.
New moon in Gemini
Gemini is a mutable, changeable sign known for its duality, wit, curiosity, and all things related to communication and social activity. It is represented by the twins and is connected to the Lovers card in the tarot, this highlights one of the main principles of Gemini: that all others are mirrors to ourselves and that we in turn are mirrors for others. That is the primary energy we are uncovering and learning through this new moon with Venus, planet of relationships and values, taking center stage.
Full Flower Moon in Sagittarius
If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that lately Jupiter has been doing the most, and this moon is no exception. Not only is Jupiter the ruling planet of Sagittarius, making it the ruling planet of this moon, but transit Jupiter is making some big moves in our sky right now. The most significant and exciting is the Venus Jupiter conjunction that is taking place today, at the start of the full moon.
